Our Story
Eglise Evangelique Baptiste Par La Foi was born out of a deep desire to create a Christ-centered community where Haitian and Caribbean families in South Florida could worship freely, grow spiritually, and serve faithfully.
What began as a small gathering of believers united by prayer and a shared vision has grown into a vibrant congregation rooted in the Word of God. From humble beginnings, Par La Foi has been a place where lives are transformed, families are strengthened, and the Gospel is proclaimed with boldness.
Under the faithful leadership of our pastors and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we continue to grow as a church that honors God through worship, discipleship, and outreach. Our name – Par La Foi, meaning ‘By Faith’ – reflects the foundation upon which everything we do is built. We walk by faith and not by sight, trusting God in every season.

Pastor Calvaire is the founder and Senior Pastor of Par La Foi. With decades of faithful ministry and a deep love for the Word of God, he has built a community rooted in faith, prayer, and discipleship. His wisdom and gentle spirit continue to guide the church forward.
Yvenell Calvaire
Worship Leader & Youth Pastor
Son of Pastor Calvaire and the next generation of leadership at Par La Foi, Yvenell serves as Worship Leader and Youth Pastor. His passion for worship and heart for the younger generation bring energy and vision to the church as he prepares to carry the ministry forward.
Pastor Shadrac
Associate Pastor
Pastor Shadrac serves faithfully alongside the pastoral team, bringing dedication and a heart for ministry to Par La Foi. His commitment to teaching and service strengthens the church body.
Pastor Sanon
Associate Pastor
Pastor Sanon is a pillar of Par La Foi, known for his powerful preaching and pastoral care. His years of experience and love for the congregation make him an invaluable leader in the church.
What We Believe
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions shall be measured. The Scriptures are sufficient for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness.

God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, infinite in power, wisdom, and love. He is sovereign over all creation and worthy of all worship and praise.

Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human, born of a virgin. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, and ascended to the right hand of the Father. He will return in power and glory.

The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is a divine Person who convicts the world of sin, regenerates believers, and indwells them from the moment of salvation. The Spirit empowers believers for godly living and service, produces spiritual fruit, and distributes gifts for the edification of the Church.

Salvation
We believe that salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone, apart from any human merit or works. All who repent of their sins and trust in Christ are justified, born again, and eternally secure in Him. No one comes to the Father except through Jesus.

The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, composed of all born-again believers united by the Holy Spirit. The local church is an assembly of baptized believers who gather for worship, fellowship, instruction, and the proclamation of the Gospel. Each local church is autonomous and self-governing under the lordship of Christ.

Baptism
We believe that baptism by immersion is an act of obedience that follows salvation, symbolizing the believer's identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Baptism is not a requirement for salvation but a public declaration of faith and commitment to follow Christ.

The Lord's Supper
We believe the Lord's Supper is a memorial ordinance instituted by Christ to commemorate His sacrificial death until He returns. It is to be observed regularly by believers as an act of remembrance, self-examination, and proclamation of the Gospel. The bread and the cup symbolize the body and blood of Christ.
