Grace is the unmerited favor of God that rescues us from sin and death. Pastor Yvenell reminds us that salvation is not earned by works but received as a gift through faith in Jesus Christ.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."
In this message, Pastor Yvenell paints a vivid picture of what life looks like without grace - dead in trespasses and sins, following the course of this world, living in the passions of the flesh. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, made us alive together with Christ.
Grace is what separates Christianity from every other belief system. We do not earn our way to God. We do not climb a ladder of good deeds hoping to reach heaven. Instead, God reaches down to us in our brokenness and lifts us up by His grace alone.
This grace is not a license to sin but a motivation to live for the One who gave everything for us. We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Let the reality of God's grace humble you, strengthen you, and propel you into a life of purpose and service.
